Toy Guash has a particular fondness for the historic British drawing room and the culture that flourished within it. Beyond tea and cards was a rich social world, with its own etiquette and cultivated interests. A place where careers were made, new connections formed, and a curious mind was valued.
We are inspired by the symbols of its private and social life, and the unspoken codes behind them.
Toy Guash was founded in London as a contemporary British brand, with Toy Gourmet launched later for fine provisions.
Behind it all is Toy Guash Studio. Our artists design everything from the main collections to signature fabric tea caddies. The Studio also undertakes selected private and commercial commissions.
Once a concept has taken shape, it is made where the expertise lives. For example, fine bone china comes from Stoke-on-Trent, while our teas are developed with long-standing tea merchants.
Overconsumption is contrary to everything we do. Rather than following seasonal cycles, we make fewer pieces, with handmade details where they add character.
