SCENTED CANDLES MADE IN ENGLAND
Toy Guash scented candles combine fragrance with English fine bone china, made in Stoke-on-Trent. Poured with natural wax, the candles come in vessels decorated with 22ct gold details. When lit, the natural translucency of the china allows the flame to show softly through the porcelain.
The designs belong to three collections inspired by different aspects of life in the historic British drawing room. The Court looks to card games and the social rituals around them, The Album to cultivated interests and curiosity, and The Flowers to the British tradition of understatement and what could be understood without being said.
The fine bone china vessels are made to be kept after the candle is finished. Use them as pen pots, small cachepots or for keepsakes, or add a matching fine bone china lid to create a lidded trinket pot. The lids can also be used on their own as trinket dishes, teaspoon rests or mini treat plates.
The candles can be paired with matching fine bone china and other pieces from The Court, The Album and The Flowers collections.
HOW TO REUSE YOUR CANDLE POT?
Once your candle is finished, the fine bone china vessel is made to be kept.
Pour in some hot water and leave to soak for a short while. Once the wax has softened, remove any remaining wax, then wash the pot with warm soapy water.
The pot can be reused in a number of ways. Here are a few ideas:
-
SUGAR POT
-
STORAGE POT WITH A LID
-
CACHEPOT
-
PENCIL POT
-
TEALIGHT CANDLE HOLDER
-
VANITY POT
